• Five Great Free Apps and Games for iOS - December 4th Edition [Video]

In this post, we're going to take you through five great free games and applications for iOS from the App Store to help keep you the loop of some neat free games and applications and hey; feel free to download them and give them a try!

If you missed our previous Five Great Free Apps and Games for iOS, you can head over to this link to read our November 27th edition.

    1. 2 Cars

First on our list this week is an addicting game called 2 Cars. In this game, you have to control two cars at once. You have to tap to change lanes in order to avoid the obstacles that the game attempts to place in your way. Because each car appears on the opposite side of the display of each other, you need to use two hands to play this game, preferably one thumb on each side, so that you have a good enough leverage to act quickly with your reflexes when you see an obstacle you need to avoid. You want to avoid the squares, but you want to run into the circles. The amount of circles that you collect is registered as a high score that you can try and beat again and again. It's great to pass the time, so check it out!

2 Cars can be downloaded for free from this App Store link.

    2. Tubex for YouTube

This next application will be loved by those of you that are big YouTube users. If you can't stand the layout of the YouTube application from Google, you can try Tubex for YouTube to get some new features that you didn't have before and to enjoy a better styled YouTube layout on your iPhone. The application supports background playback, easy video quality switching, closed captioning, access to your YouTube account, the ability to add videos to a playlist without even logging in, and much more. The best part is that this supercharged YouTube client is free; so check it out!

Tubex for YouTube can be downloaded for free from this App Store link.

    3. Stick Hero

Stick Hero is another fun game that can help you pass the time. In this application, you have to make the stick long enough for the ninja to cross the hole in the platform. You have to ultimately guess the length of the stick by tapping and holding. As you tap and hold, the length of the stick will grow. You need to make sure that the stick is just long enough to reach over to the other side, but not so long that it goes too far into another hole where the ninja will fall. It can be challenging, and will take practice, but we're sure you will master it in no time and get some really nice high scores. Check it out!

Stick Hero can be downloaded for free from this App Store link.

    4. EasyMeasure

If you sometimes need a quick estimate on just how far something is, or how big something is, then a new application called EasyMeasure may come off as a useful application to you. With this application, when you need a quick measurement estimate, you can just point your camera in a direction, and some complex algorithms will take place in the background to give you an estimate on just how far something is, or just how big something is. The application uses the tilt angle and the height of the camera lens to create a triangle, where the Pythagorean theorem can then basically solve the missing side of the triangle for your distance. It's not perfect, but it's a cool estimate that can give you a rough idea. Check it out!

EasyMeasure can be downloaded for free from this App Store link.

    5. Ninflated

Last on our list this week is a popular and fun game called Ninflated. In this game, you need to get as high as you can go with the inflated ninja. You have to swipe left and right to move between the obstacles in the orange bars, and you have to tap to move between the obstacles in the blue bars. If you hit an obstacle, it's game over and your score is recorded. Since it's a high score-based game, you can seriously get addicted to this game trying to beat your previous score. Check it out!

Ninflated can be downloaded for free from this App Store link.

I feel like all the new games lately are meh. What happened to games like Infinity Blade and Asphalt? Does nobody release high-graphic games that are actually fun or has Flappy Bird ruined gaming so much that the "not-really-exciting-but-kinda-addictive" strategy is now all that's being produced? /rant

It's about making a game for as cheaply as possible and profit. Bigger games are financially risky.

That's the new world dream: make as much money as possible with the least amount of work.

That's actually the oldest dream ever. Especially when you're talking about the "American Dream" 😂
