On Thursday, after Spotify updated its iOS application for the retina HD resolutions of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, competing service SoundCloud coincidentally also updated its iOS application today for the retina HD displays on Apple's latest handsets in the all-new version 3.6.0 of the application in the iOS App Store.
Also new in this version of the application, users can now create private song playlists from within the SoundCloud application of the music that they enjoy most. Users can create new ones, or they can add songs to existing playlists that they've already made.
SoundCloud also notes that they've squashed various bugs in the application, which mean that version 3.6.0 will be more stable and reliable than previous versions of the application, which is great, since this version also has all these great new features.
If you're an existing user of the SoundCloud application, you will find this update under the Updates tab in the App Store application. Alternatively, you can download the latest version of the application for free from this App Store link.
