• TD Bank Will be Soft Launching Apple Pay on December 16th

It has been reported that TD Bank has plans on doing a soft launch of Apple Pay starting Tuesday, December 16th. Many banks are already big supporters of the new mobile payment system, however, there are still many that have yet to incorporate the system as well. Consumers who use TD Bank will be able to add their Credit Card and/or Debit Card onto their iPhone 6 and 6 Plus devices to Apple Pay starting tomorrow. It was noted that some customers may have to call TD Bank’s customer service in order to confirm their cards.

Apparently employees over at TD Bank have been doing some Apple Pay training since the beginning of the month and finally finished last week, just in time for Tuesday’s soft launch. It was said that the full launch is expected to roll out sometime in January, even though they are doing a soft launch on Tuesday. Those who want to know which TD cards are eligible can find the full list below:

    - TD Bank Visa Debit Card
    - TD Bank Business Visa Debit Card
    - TD Bank Private Client Visa Debit Card
    - TD Easy Rewards Visa (Platinum & Signature) Credit Card
    - TD Cash Rewards Visa (Platinum & Signature) Credit Card
    - TD Payment Plus Visa Platinum Credit Card
    - TD First Class Visa Signature Credit Card
    - TD Business Solutions Visa Credit Card
    - TD Simply Flexible Visa Business Card
The Cupertino-based company stated that over 500 banks have already signed on with Apple Pay and are supporting the mobile payment system. Apple is said to be working with more banks and will be signing on with even more in the future. If your bank is not yet listed to have Apple Pay support, just be on the lookout as we are not surprised if all banks end up signing on sooner or later.
