• Apple Looking to Launch its Own Web-Based TV Service

Recent reports by Re/code are claiming that Apple is looking to release its very own web-based TV service. Even though the Cupertino-based company is looking to have its own TV service, it has been said that not all current television programming will be offered.

It has been reported that Apple would be putting together bundles of programming to offer its customers as a benefit for subscribing to the television service. All offered shows would only be accessible via the web. Sources are also saying that demos have been shown to programmers at the headquarters. But because it is still in the early stages, nothing has really been set in stone.

Apple has wanted for years now to take a crack at the television market but has not had much success as it. Now, the company is looking to work directly with content producers as opposed to working with cable providers. Do you think Apple will succeed this time? Let us know in the comments below.

A little late to the game considering the APTV JB community has a ton of software for it already.
