• Shipping Times for Apple's MacBook Air/MacBook Pro Slip Ahead of 'Spring Forward' Event

Ahead of the 'Spring Forward' special event that is taking place in Yerba Buena on Monday, March 9th, where Apple will be talking about the Apple Watch and iOS 8.2, Apple is also rumored to bring a refresh to the MacBook Air and possibly MacBook Pro lineups with hardware spec bumps and all-new Broadwell Intel Core processors.

Although the refreshed MacBook Air and MacBook Pro are only speculative at this point in time, more evidence is surfacing that Apple is about to unveil the refreshed lineup; availability of the existing models is growing thinner, as indicated by the shipping estimates on Apple's Web site.

Apple's Web site is now showing "1 business day" shipping estimates for the 11" and 13" MacBook Air models, as well as the 13" MacBook Pro with retina display, as shown above. Just a couple of nights before, the Web site said that the machines were "in stock," as MacRumors reports. Notably, the 15-inch MacBook Pro with retina display remains "in stock" and the non-retina display 13" MacBook Pro remains "in stock."

Just a few days ago, hardware specs were leaked for Apple's purported upcoming Broadwell-powered MacBook Air. The smaller availability of the machines on Apple's Web site, in addition to the leaked hardware specs, leave us with solid ground to expect a refresh on Monday, but we'll have t wait to see for sure.
