• Yelp Introduces Five New Business Categories for its Platform

Yelp recently introduced five new business categories that users can transact with by using the company’s website or mobile app. The new business categories include outdoor activities, florists, nightclubs, spas and salons; and legal advisors. To make everything work seamlessly, Yelp has partnered with other companies to offer a good user experience.

For the outdoors category, Yelp seems to have partnered with Vimbly to allow bookings from over 5,000 different businesses that specialize in activities such as paddleboarding and skydiving. Through another partnership with the company, GolfNow, Yelp users can even go as far as booking tee times at golf courses.

When it comes to florists, flower orders are now made possible through a Yelp partnership with BloomNation. Spa and salon bookings are made thanks to an agreement with Vagaro. Yelp’s new partnership with TableList allows Yelp users to book tables and VIP bottle service at nightclubs as well. Last but not least, arrangement for legal advice can be handled through LegalZoom which helps schedule free consultation meetings with lawyers.

It should be noted that the new categories will be available on the web and in Yelp’s mobile apps for iOS, Android and Windows. Those of you who don’t already have the Yelp app can download it for free on any device with iOS 7 or later from the App Store.

      YELP SUCKS!!
Their review system sucks. big time. It's full of fake reviews from competitors etc. They filter out the legit real reviews.. and they call every month to sell your ad. If you don't buy into their ads then they flag you as a negative business.
