• The Whole Star Wars Digital Movie Collection is Coming to iTunes in HD on April 10th

The Apple Watch isn't the only big thing coming up on Friday, April 10th.

As Walt Disney Studios, Lucasfilm Ltd., and 20th Century Fox have just announced, Star Wars' full digital movie collection will be coming to Apple's iTunes Store on Friday, April 10th, as well.

The release will include all six of the current movies, beginning with The Phantom Menace and ending with Return of the Jedi. Notably, the release will be a global release and all of the movies will be in full HD. Moreover, the iTunes downloads will include some bonus content, as the announcement explains:

We’re thrilled that fans will be able to enjoy the Star Wars saga on their digital devices wherever they go,” commented Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy. “These films broke new ground in technology, design, sound, and visual effects, and we’ve created some very special bonus material which delves into the saga’s rich history, including new and never-before-released conversations between legendary Star Wars artists — the masters who helped George bring his iconic universe to life.

Seems they'll be $20 each and $90 for them on all Google Play. I assume the same for iTunes.

Funny thing is "A New Hope" is not available on Disney Movies Anywhere... but it is on other platforms.
