• Apple Offering AppleCare+ Combination Plans for iPhone and Apple Watch

It has been noted that AppleCare+ plans for the Apple Watch costs $49 for the Sport version, $59 for the Watch edition, and $1,500 for the Edition model. Additional service charges for accidental damages are $69 for the Sport, $79 for the Watch, and $1,000 for the Edition. However, owning both the iPhone and Apple Watch will allow you to buy a combined AppleCare+ plan that the company is offering. For both the Sport and the iPhone it will be $149, both the Watch and the iPhone will be $169, and for both the Edition and iPhone it is $1,600.

The AppleCare+ combination plan allows users to purchase the coverage up to 6 months of owning the iPhone. Typically, iPhone owners have up to just 60 days to purchase the warranty plan, so the combo is giving an additional four months of time to iPhone and Apple Watch owners. The only requirement for the combo plan is that within 60 days of purchasing the coverage, an iPhone needs to be added onto the plan. The warranty gives the Apple Watch an additional two years of coverage for the Sport and the Watch, but Edition owners get up to three years. Those who donít purchase the warranty will only get one year of coverage, which includes 90 days of complimentary support and one year of hardware repairs.
