• Snapchat Updated With Ability to Zoom in While Recording Video, Improved Sharing

The popular Snapchat social chatting and sharing service has updated its iOS application on Tuesday with some improvements to the way you use the application when recording videos and sharing things with your friends. Version 9.7.0 of the application is available in the App Store and can be downloaded right now.

In terms of the improvements to video recording, Snapchat shares that in version 9.7.0 of its iOS application, you can now zoom in while recording so you can emphasize on specific details of a frame instead of having to record at a set zoom level. The App Store description changes note that to do this, all you have to do is drag your finger while you're recording a snap, and you will start to zoom.

Moreover, the update makes sharing things with friends easier; simply going over to the Discover part of the application and tapping and holding on a snap from there will allow you to share the snap with your friends via Snapchat.

If you're already using Snapchat for iOS, then this update will be waiting for you under the Updates tab in the App Store application. If you have automatic updates enabled, then it will be installed for you. Alternatively, you can visit this App Store link to download the latest version of Snapchat for free.
