• Five Great Games to Try on Your Apple Watch Right Now

We just showed you five awesome applications to use on your new Apple Watch, and because we're loving ours so much, we're also going to show you give awesome games that you can play on your Apple Watch right now!

These games vary between free and paid, so please keep that in mind. They are what we consider some of the best games available for the Apple Watch at this point in time, but we're sure as the days go by that more awesome games will become available. Just continue to stay tuned for more!

    1. Letterpad

First on our list of great Apple Watch games is Letterpad. We really enjoyed this game on our iPhone, so when we saw that it had Apple Watch compatibility, that just added to the excitement. Basically what you do is you try to guess words that are related to the subject at the top of the screen.

You have pool of nine letters that you can pick from to create words; some words won't be accepted, and some will. As you can see from the top of the screenshot, you have to guess all seven words in this instance (the number of words vary depending on difficulty) and we've already guessed 2 of the 7 words.

There are hints and shuffles so you can make playing and guessing easier, but this game will really make you think. Letterpad is a free download from the App Store at this link. Check it out!

    2. BoxPop

BoxPop is an addicting puzzle game where you have to try and clear the board of squares by jumping from square to square in the pattern of an 'L' like a knight would move in the game of Chess.

It's important to note that you have to be very clever and use your brain to make sure all of the squares are cleared. It's very easy to miss some by the time there are no possible moves left, so you should trek carefully and plan each move. It will be more and more difficult as you advance through levels and the board of squares gets larger.

If you do fail a level, you can always replay it. If you're interested in giving BoxPop a try, it's available for free from the App Store at this link. Check it out!

    3. Trivia Crack

For those that enjoy trivia, Trivia Crack is a fun game that you can play to test your knowledge against your friends and even complete strangers. Many of you probably already play Trivia Crack, but did you know it supports the Apple Watch too?

Indeed; and you can spin the trivia selector right on your wrist and answer your trivia questions right on your wrist too. You will continue answering questions until you get one wrong, which is when it switches to your opponent's turn. The first person to complete all of the categories is deemed the winner of the match.

If you're interested in giving Trivia Crack a try, you can download the ad-free version for $2.99 from the App Store at this link, or you can download the ad-supported version for free from the App Store at this link. Check it out, brainiacs!

    4. Poll Party

Another game we found pleasingly entertaining was Poll Party, which is a game that allows you to answer random poll questions and place bets on what you think the most popular answer is going to be.

A new poll question comes up every so often and you have to wait for others to guess at the answer, but in the mean time, you can view previous poll questions and the majority and minority answers. It's a very cool way to learn things and associate with others around the world without getting too personal.

You simply read the question on your Apple Watch, select the answer that you think is correct, and then place your bet on what answer you think is going to be the most popular. Pretty simple, right?

If you're interested in trying Poll Party on your iPhone or Apple Watch, it's available for free in the App Store at this link.

    5. Rules!

Rules! is a game that was recently offered as a free download in the Apple Store app, so many of you probably managed to snag it for free when it was free, but it's now $2.99 in the App Store. Nonetheless, it's a fun game that will test your memory and comprehension abilities, so you could say it'll help keep your brain working sharp.

It gives you a set of rules that you have to follow with the cards that are displayed, and if you follow the rules correctly, you'll move on, but if you don't follow them, you'll have to try again until you get it right.

Rules vary from tapping numbers in descending order, to tapping cards based on the color of the creature, to other things. You can also choose between beginner, expert, and timeless difficulty levels.

If you want to give Rules! a try, you can download it from the App Store at this link for $2.99. Check it out, if you dare!

Please keep in mind that excessive game-playing on your Apple Watch will impact your battery life.

So now we have a situation whereby people have bought an expensive Apple watch with an already known poor battery life and then continue on and obtain and play games that will definitely decrease the battery life even further.

Has all sense gone out of the window? Whilst I realize that it a choice for the individual user it does seem crazy to me for the need to play games on a wrist watch!

It's crazy to have a watch that doesn't last a whole day.

So basically, the battery life of the Apple Watch isn't actually that bad. It'll last an entire day despite not lasting as long as the iPhone 6 Plus. Moreover, the iPhone does most of the processing and the Apple Watch is just a relay device that controls the iPhone over a Bluetooth remote control connection.
