• 24 New Credit Union and Bank Partnerships Added to Apple Pay List



    Apple’s mobile payment system Apple Pay seems to be getting more and more credit union and new bank partnerships every couple of weeks. The Cupertino-based company’s Apple Pay support page was updated recently. It was noted that 24 new participating card issuers have been added to the list.

    It seems like in the new batch of 24 partnerships, credit unions make up majority of the additions. The company has officially announced 250 institutions partnering up with the mobile payment system within the U.S. As of right now, Apple Pay only works in the U.S., but the company has said that they have plans on expanding.

    More retailers are also approaching the idea with Apple, as T-Mobile and GameStop incorporated the mobile payment system jut recently. Popular hardware chain Home Depot also said that Apple Pay would be installed officially in their brick-and-mortar stores soon. Take a look at the 24 new partnerships below.

      Right ! Still waiting on Advia credit union too ! Bout to switch to chase bank if they don't hurry up !

      The Bancorp Bank is a biggie, because they are the backing bank for many prepaid debit cards.
