• DirecTV iOS App Updated With Apple Watch Support

An update was announced by DirecTV recently for its iOS app, which now has Apple Watch support. More and more apps are getting updated to incorporate Apple’s latest wearable device. The update to DirecTV ‘s app will allow users to pause, play, fast forward, and rewind content that is recorded on connected receivers right from the wrist.

Along with being able to act as a remote control and control playback in recorded content, navigation for on-screen guides, menus, and playlists can also be controlled by users wearing the Apple Watch. Movies and TV show episode details, channels, and titles will be viewable on the device as well.
