Previous Apple iPhone software chief Scott Forstall has been out of the public eye for years, but in a recent interview he speaks about life after Apple as a Broadway producer. Forstall is back in the spotlight as a co-producer of Broadway play “Fun Home.” According to the Wall Street Journal, Forstall met producer Carole Shorenstein Hays at a party recently and then announced on Twitter last month about his Broadway plans.

Apparently after Forstall read the Fun Home script, he was very interested in it as he said he felt for the storyline and then provided a check. He noted to the WSJ,

It's about a real family with real love and real tragedy. The family is so different than mine, but it still resonated.
It was also noted that Forstall has been working extremely hard on promoting the Broadway play. Not only did he support it financially, but he has been working with ad agency SpotCo for marketing purposes and to for SEO (Search Engine Optimization) campaigns. As for speaking about his previous company, Apple, he noted that he was:

so proud of the thousands of people I worked with [at Apple] and with whom I remain friends. I am delighted that they continue to turn out great and beloved products.
