
Previous Apple iPhone software chief Scott Forstall has been out of the public eye for years, but in a recent interview he speaks about life after Apple as a Broadway producer. Forstall is back in the spotlight as a co-producer of Broadway play “Fun Home.” According to the Wall Street Journal, Forstall met producer Carole Shorenstein Hays at a party recently and then announced on Twitter last month about his Broadway plans.
Apparently after Forstall read the Fun Home script, he was very interested in it as he said he felt for the storyline and then provided a check. He noted to the WSJ,
It's about a real family with real love and real tragedy. The family is so different than mine, but it still resonated.
so proud of the thousands of people I worked with [at Apple] and with whom I remain friends. I am delighted that they continue to turn out great and beloved products.
