Unless this is the new iPhone 6c that was inadvertently leaked ahead of its time, Apple has just posted what appears to be an iPhone 5c with a Touch ID sensor in place of the typical Home Button on its very own Web site.
The strange iPhone 5c with Touch ID appears on the Web Page for the brand-new Lightning Dock. It's clearly a goof-up on Apple's part, but also a major overlook by a company that should know its own products.
The device is clearly of the iPhone 5c flavor, as it has a colored plastic backing. All models of the iPhone 5, 5s, 6, and 6 Plus have a space gray, gold, or silver aluminum backing and not a pink plastic backing.
This slight graphical depiction error will, without a doubt, be pulled from and revised by those in charge of the Web site's design as soon as it is noticed by the company.
Update: Apple has updated the image by removing the Touch ID sensor and has replaced it with the original Home Button.
