• 'SilkScreen' Makes Sharing Screenshots From Mobile Safari Even Easier

A new jailbreak tweak dubbed SilkScreen by iOS developer Suhaib Alfaqeeh has just hit the Cydia Store that makes it easier than ever before to share screenshots taken in Mobile Safari.

The tweak makes it so that whenever you take a screenshot of something in Mobile Safari, a share menu pops up, as shown above, which makes it easy to share with your friends via text message, e-mail, Facebook Messenger, or any other social service that is offered in iOS 8's share menu.

The tweak saves you the time of having to go to your Photos application after you take the screenshot and then having to send it from there, or from having to visit the application you want to send the image in and sending it from there. You'll find that it can come in handy for proving your friends wrong or helping someone find the information they're looking for on the fly without all the app-switching.

The tweak adds a preferences pane to the Settings application where you can enable or disable the tweak on demand, as well as configure an Activator action that can toggle the tweak on or off:

SilkScreen is available in Cydia's BigBoss repository as a free download, but once you install it, you'll have to purchase and set up your license from the tweak's preferences pane in the tweak's Settings application for $1.99. The tweak is compatible with iOS 8.
