• Sony Music CEO Doug Morris Confirms Unveiling of Apple Music Streaming Service at WWDC

As WWDC 2015 is only a matter of hours away, more and more assumptions of what will be unveiled at the event is circulating the web. Sony CEO Doug Morris recently confirmed at the annual Midem conference that the Cupertino-based company would be unveiling a streaming music service tomorrow. According to VentureBeat, Morris didnít give any other detail other than ďitís happening tomorrow.Ē Rumors have already been going around claiming Apple would be introducing a newly revamped music streaming service tomorrow.

Although it was expected for Apple to be unveiling their newly revamped streaming music service, the company never actually went ahead and confirmed it. This means that Apple could very well change their mind last minute and decide not to do it. However, we have a strong feeling that the Cupertino-based company will touch up on this topic as Jay Z even rolled out some updates for Tidal just last week. Morris stated:

What does Apple bring to this? Well, they've got $178 billion in the bank. And they have 800 million credit cards in iTunes. Spotify has never really advertised because it's never been profitable. My guess is that Apple will promote this like crazy and I think that will have a halo effect on the streaming business.
