Monday morning, Tim Cook kicked off WWDC 2015 with some great announcements for iOS, Mac OS, and watchOS.
WatchOS will officially gain support for native applications, which means it will no longer be required to piggyback off of the iPhone applications.
Apple notes that the update will be available for the Apple Watch, Apple Watch Edition, and Apple Watch Sport. It will be available for developers today for testing and will be launched to users in the Fall as a free upgrade.
Like Watch OS update 1.0.1 in the past, it will be installed wirelessly from the Apple Watch application on the iPhone.
Stay tuned for more details!
