• Apple Begins Rolling Out Online Reserve & Pickup Option for Apple Watch

Apple has started rolling out its online Reserve and Pickup selector via the company's Web site, which allows potential Apple Watch customers to reserve a style of Apple Watch online so that they can check it out in person at a local Apple retail store before officially committing to buying it.

The new option will be very handy for those that have been on the fence about the device and need some time to check it out before actually wasting their time with it if they don't like it. It is also the first time that the devices will be available for reservation in Apple's retail stores in the United States.

This service is rolling out in certain countries around the world, such as Australia for now, as 9to5Mac reports but it's reported that the Reserve and Pickup option will be available on the U.S. part of Apple's Web site starting Thursday, June 17th (later today).

It's worth noting that if a customer that reserves a specific model doesn't commit to buying the Apple Watch they reserved, or fails to arrive within a certain time period after reserving it, it will return to the shelf for another potential customer to pick up and the original reserver will have to re-reserve that model once again.

Will you be taking advantage of Apple's Reserve and Pickup form?

Your article says Thursday June 17th. But the date for this Thursday is the 18th. So are they starting on Wednesday the 17th or Thursday the 18th. You also state later today.
