• 7 New International Apple Maps Flyover Locations Added

Apple has been paying more attention to and expanding their Maps 3D Flyover feature in the last year or so in various parts of the world. The company recently just added an additional seven international cities to the list of Maps 3D Flyover support. You will be able to see the seven new cities on Apple’s iOS 8 feature availability webpage in Maps. The seven new cities are Jerez de la Frontera in Spain, Almería in Spain, Braga in Portugal, Kiel in Germany, Karlsruhe in Germany, San Juan in Puerto Rico, and Kingston upon Hull in England.

The Cupertino-based company moved away from Google Maps in iOS 6 a while back and decided to release their own standalone Maps feature. Previous reports noted that the company wants to add transit directions and possible navigation with images in iOS 9. Apple themselves have not yet confirmed if this would happen in iOS 9 so no one is really sure yet. We do know however, that Apple is definitely trying to improve Apple Maps, as mystery vans were spotted all around Europe and the U.S. last month.
