• Taylor Swift, Happy With Apple's Decision, Will Launch Hit Album 1989 on Apple Music

Just a few days ago, Taylor Swift announced via Tumblr and Twitter that she would be holding her hit album 1989 from Apple Music due to the fact that Apple wasn't going to pay artists for the users' listening of music during their three-month free trial.

Like a game of Chess, Apple quickly made their move. Eddy Cue responded saying that Apple changed their policy and would pay artists during the three-month Apple Music free trial. It has been reported that artists will make 2¢ per listen during the free trial, which of course, adds up quick when lots of people are listening to the songs over and over.

After this, it was Taylor Swift's move again. And it would appear that on Thursday, Swift has changed her mind and has announced via Twitter that she will be making her 1989 album available on Apple Music after all:

Swift says that it's not a special agreement with Apple that made this happen; she just felt like it was the first time her gut said it was the right thing to do.

Many Taylor Swift fans, will be happy to hear that they'll be able to listen to her on Apple Music when it debuts in iOS 8.4 after all.

Apple sits on what, billions in the bank? Why don't they just buck the trend and run their competition out of business by paying say 10 center per song or something?
