• Pinterest Releases Buyable Pins Shopping On iOS

According to TechCrunch, Pinterest has begun rolling out their new Buyable Pins feature recently for iPad and iPhone users in the U.S. This new feature was first announced earlier this month and lets retail partners add a ‘buy’ button to advertised pins, so that users can directly purchase products on Pinterest. Along with the new buyable pins feature, Pinterest will also be releasing a ‘Shop Our Picks’ feature, which selects a list of products for different categories.

It was noted that transactions are taken care of by Stripe and apparently Pinterest is working with Apple to make sure they don’t have to deal with any credit card information. Users can pay using the Cupertino-based company’s mobile payment system Apple Pay or by credit card. Pinterest has partnered with retailers Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, and Macy’s, along with many other local merchants and brand as well. Buyable Pins will have a blue price tag next to products that can be purchased.

Make sure to be on the lookout for these Buyable Pins as the feature is slowly rolling out to users in the U.S.
