• Snapchat iOS App Updated With Ability to Tap to View Snaps & Snapcode Improvements

On Wednesday, the popular Snapchat photo and video messaging application for iOS was updated to version 9.11.0 with improvements that the social platform is hoping will appeal to new and old users alike.

The biggest part of this update is that users no longer have to tap and hold to open a Snap. Instead, simply tapping on the snap will bring it up and allow the user to see it for the length of time the Snap is available for.

Moreover, improvements have been made to Snapcodes. You can now add a selfie to your Snapcode by tapping on it, as well as add friends by way of their Snapcodes. Since Snapchat made this a feature, you can also bet that they just made it even easier to share your Snapcode so that other people can add you too.

Existing users of Snapchat can update to the latest version of Snapchat for free from the Udpates tab in the App Store application. Alternatively, you can also head over to this App Store link to grab it.
