• Hyundai Releases Blue Link App for the Apple Watch with Several Features for its Cars

Hyundai recently released a Blue Link app for the Apple Watch, which helps to bring several of the same vehicle remote control eatures present in the Blue Link iPhone interface to the Apple Watch. Users of the app, included with the iPhone software, can perform various tasks such as starting and stopping their engine remotely and locking or unlocking their doors. The app can even control other car functions such as flashing the car lights to help spot the car at night for example.

With this specific app, a car finder links with Maps to more precisely locate a vehicle and provide a specific address and distance. Drivers can then use this for example to set a timer and add any relevant notes in the case of metered parking as well.

One of the more important features for the Watch app is voice control. The feature makes it possible for users to skip the app’s menu system and perform tasks at a quicker rate.

It should be noted that to use the Watch app, users need to have an iPhone but a subscription to Blue Link and obviously a vehicle compatible with the platform as well. The app itself is a free download.
