Last March, it was one of the most eagerly anticipated debuts at SXSW 2015 -- the new Steve Jobs documentary from acclaimed filmmaker Alex Gibney.
But today, the world at large is getting a look at the first official trailer of "Steve Jobs: The Man in the Machine."
Debuting today on Mashable, the documentary paints an unvarnished portrait of the person and professional that the late Apple co-founder was -- a portrait that some at Apple have railed against.
"Very disappointed in SJ:Man in the Machine," Apple's chief of software and services Eddy Cue tweeted last spring. "An inaccurate and mean-spirited view of my friend. It's not a reflection of the Steve I knew."
If you haven't checked it out yet, here's the trailer in question. Gibney's documentary will be in limited theatrical release beginning September 4th.
