• Shazam Updated With Ability to Add Shazams to Spotify & Rdio Playlists From the App

Shazam has had what appears to be a friendly relationship with music streaming services like Spotify and Rdio for a long time, and on Wednesday, the music-tagging company launched another update for its Shazam and Shazam Encore applications on the iOS platform extending the application's functionality to Spotify and Rdio in new ways.

The most important change in the new version of the application (8.8.0) is that users can now add music that they've tagged in Shazam or Shazam Encore directly to their Spotify or Rdio playlists without even having to leave the Shazam or Shazam Encore application.

This means that after tagging music, the songs can be imported directly to the user's favorite streaming application so that the song is ready to be listened to the next time that the streaming application is opened.

Shazam continues to streamline its user experience, making music discovery easier, and with today's new feature, it's now easier than ever for users to keep track of the music they're finding and listen to it again.

Existing users of Shazam or Shazam Encore will find this update under the Updates tab in the App Store application for free. Alternatively, you can download Shazam for free from this App Store link, or Shazam Encore for $6.99 from this App Store link.
