The big moment is finally here. The long-awaited attribute that has been missing and keeping you on the fence with regard to buying Apple's smartwatch, has now reached the market.
Forget all the other desirable features, for the low, low price of just 197,000 rubles (or about $3,000), you can have a gold Apple Watch that sports the signature of Russia President Vladimir Putin.
How did we ever live without this option before, huh? Well, if you have the cash to burn, it can now be yours. Of course, this particular model has more to offer than just Putin's signature. The device, made by Russian-Italian jewellery brand Caviar Perna Penna, "also depicts the Moscow skyline and the double-headed eagle of Russia's coat of arms."
CNN notes that the jewelers behind the device have said that their current and previous Putin-centric modified electronic devices are "the best way to express patriotism."
Collectors should take note. The so-called "Putinwatch" will be limited to just 999 units.
