• No Surprises Inside the Official WWDC App

For some inexplicable reason, there is tremendous perceptible interest across the blogosphere today over the new iPhone application launched this weekend exclusively for those attending Apple's annual Worldwide Developers Conference, which begins Monday. So don't mosey on over to the App Store or frantically scour iTunes for this much-hyped app. It can only be accessed by attendees who log in with the account info used during the purchase of their pricey WWDC ticket.

But some folks with the app are dishing on its contents today. And, from the looks of it, those without the app who are excited about it... shouldn't be. If you thought the application delivered never-before-seen pics of the 4th gen iPhone (as, believe it or not, some people actually do), you would be very, very disappointed.

The app in question only serves up a schedule of sessions for the conference, which spans June 7-11 at San Francisco's Moscone West. In addition to a searchable list of sessions, events can also be previewed, and a helpful "Places" tab lets attendees figure out how to navigate the facilities. Otherwise, no bombshells are dropped, no secrets are told, and virtually nothing is made public that Apple don't want the world to know. The good stuff comes Monday morning.
