• Sprint Touts New iPhone Upgrade Plan

    Big news from Sprint Monday.

The nation's third largest mobile operator has unveiled its new iPhone upgrade plan. And it might be impressive enough to attract new subscribers from competing networks.

Calling it a simple, yet powerful offer for iPhone fans, the so-called "iPhone Forever" plan allows customers (those who donít have the latest iPhone) to upgrade at any time of their choosing. In short, there are no windows, so to speak, when upgrading is or isn't permissible.

"Starting today, new and upgrade eligible Sprint customers can get iPhone for just $22 per month with iPhone Forever," the carrier said in a statement provided to MMi. "Anytime customers donít have the latest iPhone, they are eligible to upgrade."

We're told that iPhone Forever is available on any eligible Sprint rate plan. Upgrade eligibility is "included in your price."

Wow! That seems pretty legit. Haven't read the fine print, but being able to upgrade when a new iPhone comes out no matter what is nice.

Restricted to iPhone6 16GB model only. No option for other model or sizes.

Yeah. Read the details. Only the 16gb isn't that great.

I have to agree. T-Mobile's Jump is much better.

LOL what good is an iPhone when it doesn't even work on Sprint's network?? And what's gonna happen when Apple decides to discontinue 16gb phones and make 32gb the new entry level phone? Sprint will say "gotcha suckers"

Lol. That's such a terrible deal. All these companies care about is money anymore. They could care less about customers. Go back to 2 year plans you a-holes.

Sprint has got to be the most horrendous network/carrier there is and the least value offering due to their network/technology. They are the Flintstones of carriers.

      1. I thought Sprint is the 4th largest now behind T-mobile now.
      2. Sprint service sux and always will. They messed up in the beginning with their business model and it's always going to be that way.
      3. 16gb iPhone only...I wouldn't care if the service was free each month. That's crap!

Not according to that newsroom link that is post above. Only says 16GB iPhone 6. Nothing about the other plus and sizes model and pricing for those.

As a one time customer of Sprint, I can tell you without any hesitation or regret that you should never EVER use Sprint.

Their network is horrible even with 4+ bars in highly populated areas. And their customer service will straight up lie to you. No joke.
