Big news from Sprint Monday.
The nation's third largest mobile operator has unveiled its new iPhone upgrade plan. And it might be impressive enough to attract new subscribers from competing networks.
Calling it a simple, yet powerful offer for iPhone fans, the so-called "iPhone Forever" plan allows customers (those who don’t have the latest iPhone) to upgrade at any time of their choosing. In short, there are no windows, so to speak, when upgrading is or isn't permissible.
"Starting today, new and upgrade eligible Sprint customers can get iPhone for just $22 per month with iPhone Forever," the carrier said in a statement provided to MMi. "Anytime customers don’t have the latest iPhone, they are eligible to upgrade."
We're told that iPhone Forever is available on any eligible Sprint rate plan. Upgrade eligibility is "included in your price."
