• iOS Hacker Gets Custom Watch Faces Running on the Apple Watch

One of the things that people want to have on their Apple Watch is the ability to create or download third-party Apple Watch faces. Although this isn't a reality in Apple's world just yet, a hacker by the name of Hamza Sood has managed to find a way to create a custom Apple Watch face to use on his Apple Watch.

This is a relatively big deal, as it opens the door for future possibilities. There are plenty of people out there that either aren't satisfied with what Apple has to offer in terms of Apple Watch faces, or simply want to stand out and be different with something that not everyone else has.

It is worth noting that the hack requires the upcoming watchOS 2 update, which will be released to the public this Fall, so it's a no-brainer that the developer is performing this hack on a piece of beta software, which may or may not be patched by the time the public release is out.

Below, you can view Sood's Tweet, as well as his demonstration video:

The developer has open sourced his work on GitHub, available to view at this link.

Uh... YEAH?! This is excellent news. Then again, if Apple simply releases an option to have YYYY-MM-DD date formats I'd be happy too. >_>

Yeah, I just want the modular watch face to include seconds on the time. If Apple does that, I'll be happy too. Then again, seeing the endless possibilities for watch faces that the Pebble has, it'd be nice to have that on the Apple Watch too.
