• 18 More US banks and Credit Unions Gain Apple Pay Support

The last time Apple added new credit unions and banks to their list of Apple Pay supporters was the beginning of this month, which wasn’t long ago. Now, the giant tech company has announced 18 more U.S. banks and credit unions starting to support Apple Pay. Apple has already officially updated their list, which puts the total number of supporting banks and credit unions at almost 500.

Apple launched their mobile payment system in the UK just last month and although the list of supporters is still small, we’re positive the number will grow drastically over the next few weeks. It was noted that many credit unions and banks in the UK have not signed on yet, but will most likely do so in the near future. Rumors have been circulating the web claiming the next country to get Apple Pay is Canada.

Many believe Apple will be announcing their next mobile payment service expansion during the not yet official September 9th iPhone 6s/6s Plus press event. The list of newly added supporters can be found below. If you want to see the complete list, click the source link at the bottom.
