• All Eyes on France: More Evidence of September iPhone 6s Launch

It's going to be called iPhone 6s and it's going to be available for pre-order by mid-September.

It's a rumor we've been covering a lot lately, but now there's more evidence to suggest it's more than just a rumor.

News out of Europe today indicates that a French carrier has reportedly leaked information all but confirming that the "iPhone 6s" will be available for pre-order beginning September 11th. Apple, of course, hasn't confirmed the news -- but we're hearing so many consistent claims regarding the next-gen Apple device that it would now be considered a surprise if the refreshed iPhone didn't debut next month.

The same source of the information leak claims that the official release date of iPhone 6s is September 18th.

"If the information is correct," BI ponders, "we can probably expect iPhone 6S preorders to kick off in other regions on that same day. When Apple launched the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus last year, it was available for preorder in the US, France, Australia, Canada, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, the UK, and Puerto Rico on Sept. 12."
