• Apple Puts Up More Decorations Ahead of September 9th Event

We reported a few days ago that Apple started putting up banners, flags on flagpoles, and posters at San Francisco’s Bill Graham Auditorium ahead of the September 9th event. Now, the Cupertino-based company has installed a huge 15-foot white Apple logo on the main window according to AppleInsider. One of AppleInsider’s reader provided some photos of the new decorations going up on the building.

From the photos you can also see that Apple set up a banner underneath the 15-foot Apple logo, attached on the venue’s billboard that says ‘Special Event’ on it. It is possible that the Cupertino-based company will change the text the day of the event but we’re not entirely sure. There are security guards walking the vicinity, which is expected, as they don’t want anyone loitering the area before the event. However, it was noted that there are a ton more security than usual and past events.

According to Fortune, more security could mean that there may be a special guest at the event on Wednesday. Fortune’s Philip Elmer-DeWitt even said that Taylor Swift might be performing at the event for employees. We’re not sure how true this piece of news is, but it just doesn’t seem so likely. Stay tuned for the upcoming iPhone event on Wednesday.
