• Aaron Sorkin's Steve Jobs Biopic Receives Positive First Review

Aaron Sorkin’s Steve Jobs biopic isn’t officially due out until October 9th, but it was screened this past weekend at the Telluride Film Festival and will again on October 3rd at the New York Film Festival. The first reviews for the film were given and it seems like many had given it considerable praise, saying it was a ‘brilliant’ price of filmmaking. According to Chief Film Critic Justin Chang from Variety, the film is a ‘must see’ for multiple reasons. Chang noted:

This is a film of brash, swaggering artifice and monumental ego, a terrific actors' showcase and an incorrigibly entertaining ride.
He said that actor Michael Fassbender gave “an enthralling performance" and that the storytelling structure was very unique and different. The critic also stated that the film creatively presented Jobs the way many around him saw him; “an iconic visionary and a monster with a silicon chip where his heart should be." Fassbender was the lead actor in the film and played previous Apple CEO Steve Jobs.

The film was directed by Oscar winner Danny Boyle, who also directed popular film ‘Slumdog Millionaire’. If you are interested in watching this movie be sure to keep October 9th open, as it will be released in most U.S. theaters that Friday. Are you excited to finally watch this film?
