• Discover Announces Support for Apple Pay Coming September 16th

Popular credit card company Discover recently announced that they would start supporting Apple’s mobile payment system Apple Pay starting September 16th. They are even doing a promotion where for a limited time, those who have Discover and use Apple Pay will receive an extra 10% Cashback Bonus. This is the company’s way in luring customers into using the mobile payment service.

Discover customers have until the end of 2015 to earn the 10% Cashback Bonus of up $10,000 of in-store purchases. Those who use Miles and Escape cards as well as Discover it Miles cards will have the same $10,000 limit, so definitely take advantage of this promotion going on.

The credit card company announced this back in April when they reported that they came to an agreement with Apple in regards to Apple Pay. Other major credit card companies including MasterCard, Visa, and American Express have already been supporting Apple Pay for a long time now, so Discover is one of the last major credit card companies to do so.

VP of Discover, Heather Roche, stated:

We want to encourage new and existing Discover cardmembers to add their Discover card to Apple Pay with a few simple clicks using our mobile app, take advantage of this 10% Cashback Bonus, and experience the ease and convenience of using Apple Pay.
