• All iPhone 6s and 6s Plus Devices Sold Out Worldwide Ahead of Friday Launch

There’s just a couple of days left until Apple launches their new iPhone 6s and 6s Plus and already the devices are sold out worldwide, including in the U.S. The first wave of countries to have the new iPhones are Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, New Zealand, Puerto Rico, Singapore, the UK and the US. All twelve countries are sold out of both iPhones in all colors and models offered. The earliest ship date now is September 29th-October 6th for most devices.

Of the two iPhones, the larger 5.5-inch iPhone 6s Plus was sold out first for about one week now, then the smaller 4.7-inch iPhone 6s followed suit. There are no official numbers yet for the new iPhones, but Apple execs have already commented saying reaction to it has been extremely positive. They also claimed that the new smartphones are en route in breaking the 10 million units sold last year during opening weekend based off of current preorder numbers.

Hong Kong was the first country to sell out of both iPhones during preorder weekend, to the point where consumers can’t even reserve devices anymore in any color, storage size, or model. Everything on the Hong Kong Apple webpage says ‘currently unavailable.’ Apple this year took one week longer to ship out the devices, which gives them extra time to produce more phones for launch date.

By this time last year, consumers in the first wave of countries already received their iPhone 6 and 6 Plus. The smartphones last year were shipped out by September 19th, a week after preordered started. If you haven't ordered your new phone by now, you won't be receiving it on Friday unless you are able to get one during walk-ins at retail locations on Friday.

If you really want the new iPhone by Friday, we'd suggest getting to your local Apple Store bright and early on September 25th. And when we say "bright and early," we mean really early- Apple will be serving food and drinks this year so consumers won't be as bored while waiting in line.
