• iPhone 6s Display Models Go Up in Tokyo Apple Store

There’s just a few hours left until Apple’s iPhone 6s and 6s Plus launches in Japan and MacRumors reports that a Tokyo Apple Retail Store began setting up iPhone 6s display models. Apple’s new devices will be launching in New Zealand and Australia first, then Japan will be launching it a few hours later at 8:00am local time. This means on Friday morning, consumers will be able to test out the new devices and experience it in store.

Photos and videos were shown of Apple employees setting up the store and installing the new iPhones on Thursday evening in Omotesando, Tokyo. A digital banner advertising the new iPhones, which runs across the length of the store was also shown in the photos. The Cupertino-based company will not accept any walk-in sales of the new iPhone 6s or 6s Plus in Japan, China, or Hong Kong.

Unfortunately, this means any Japanese customers who forgot to preorder the new device or reserve it, won’t be receiving a new phone tomorrow. U.S. Apple Stores that won’t be accepting walk-in purchases includes stores in Alaska, Delaware, New Hampshire, and Oregon.
