A few days ago, we announced that T-Mobile launched a new iPhone 6s promotion, which allows consumers to trade in a device and qualify for either the $5/month, $10/month, or $15/month plan. It seems however, that Sprint is looking to take on T-Mobile, as they just announced their new promo for the iPhone 6s. Sprint’s discounted plan can cost as little as $1/month for Apple’s lowest 16GB model.
In order to be eligible for the new promo, Sprint customers have to be a part of the iPhone Forever program and be able to trade in their one-year old iPhone 6. Customers pay a total of $12/month when they choose the 16GB device after standard monthly fees and taxes. If you prefer Apple’s larger iPhone 6s Plus device, it will cost you only $5/month for the 16GB excluding taxes and fees.
However, when you choose the larger storage models like the 64GB and 128GB iPhone 6s the price will be $5.77/month and $10.53/month, respectively for the iPhone 6s excluding taxes and fees. The 64GB iPhone 6s Plus will cost $9.77/month and the 128GB iPhone 6s Plus will cost $14.53/month excluding taxes and fees.
Those who have an older iPhone 5s can trade the device in for a 16GB iPhone 6s for just $10/month or a 16GB iPhone 6s Plus for $14/month. It is unclear how long this promotion will go on for, but we’d suggest getting on it if you are remotely interested. The carrier did note that until December 31st, 2015, upgrading and new customers can trade in any smartphone and qualify for the $15/month promo.
