A local report noted that Apple has signed a new 202,000 square feet building lease in North San Jose, California recently. Apple is definitely going all out in expansions both internationally and locally. The reason behind this 202,000 square feet space is still unclear, but we’re sure the reason will be revealed soon.

The new building is owned by realty firm Steelwave and is located at 2509 Orchard Parkway. According to San Jose Mercury News, the realty company may be building two additional office buildings on the nearby land for Apple. The three buildings together can hold approximately 3,000 employees.

Just recently, the Cupertino-based company secured a campus by Sunnyvale that is 770,000 square feet and is pretty close to Apple’s Campus 2 that’s in the making. The Cupertino based company has other properties around Component Drive and Orchard Parkway.

Maybe that UFO they're building should have 20 underground levels and then they could put all their staff in one place and save a ton on leases?
