• Is the Future of Slot Machine Gaming Linked to Apple Watch?

Real money mobile gambling may not be legal everywhere in the U.S. yet, but that doesn't mean companies in the gaming space are sitting on their hands and waiting for that eventual day to come.

Some are already taking steps to prepare the online gaming world for the advent of iGaming on Apple Watch. Think that sounds silly? We can name a few companies that might disagree vehemently.

Two Chicago firms have recently "collaborated to create a casino-style slot machine app for the Apple Watch,” local reports note.

LED Gaming, a 16-year-old gaming company founded by well-known game maker Larry DeMar, worked with Chicago-based game developer Purple Gator to launch Double Luck Nudge, an Apple Watch app that brings the experience of a casino slot machine to your wrist.
So will Apple Watch users actually want to play real-money slot machine games from their smartwatch? DeMar seems to think so.

“We are closer than you think (to legalizing online gambling),” DeMar says in the report. “The likelihood of it happening here is outstanding.”
