• Adobe Updates its Fix and Mix Apps for iOS 9 Multitasking and iPad Pro Support

Adobe has recently updated its two main Photoshop apps for iOS with full support for iOS 9ís multitasking features as well as support for the upcoming iPad Pro. The two apps updated are Photoshop Fix and Photoshop Mix with both offering Split View on iPads, allowing them to work side-by-side along other apps that support the feature. The option also appears to be restricted to the iPad Air 2, Mini 4 and the iPad Pro.

Pro support allows tablet users to edit larger images in comparison to those editable on other devices. That being said, Adobe didnít mention specific resolutions or filesizes when it came to the matter. Similarly, although the apps should have ďbasicĒ Apple Pencil functions, Adobe didnít elaborate on what this meant exactly. In this scenario, the stylus does offer tilt and pressure sensitivity but it remains unclear if these features are functional in the new app.

Of the two apps, Photoshop Fix is centered around retouching and restoring images by using various brushes and adjustment tools for focus, color, exposure and saturation. Photoshop Mix on the other hand is built around cutting, combining and layering pictures with the presence of some basic image adjustment tools to aid in the process.

It should be noted that both apps are free and run on any device with iOS 8.1 or later. That being said, users do need an internet connection and an Adobe ID to be able to use the two apps.
