Preorder of Apple’s upcoming iPad Pro began at popular warehouse chain Sam’s Club today on the company’s website. Those fortunate enough to catch the screen when the devices were still in stock, should’ve seen that it had a release date of next Friday, November 13th. Sam’s Club sent out e-mails this morning to its members advertising the new tablet.
By 2pm today however, the iPad Pro was sold out in all colors and memory size. The company was taking pre-orders for the 32GB and 128GB Wi-Fi models in Gold, Silver, and Space Gray. The 128GB Wi-Fi + Cellular version was not being pre-sold by Sam’s Club. Apple is selling the devices at $799 and $949 for the 32GB and 128GB, respectively, but Sam’s Club is selling it with a bit of a discount at $787 and $937.
There were a few previous rumors that circulated the Internet claiming that Apple’s largest tablet would launch Wednesday, November 11th, but the new launch date isn’t too far off with it being just two days later. Apple has yet to begin their iPad Pro preorder and they have yet to announce when they would begin to or if there will even be one. The Cupertino-based company may just launch the tablet the day of and call it a day.
