• Those With the New Apple TV Can Now Sign Up for Beta Testing of VLC App for tvOS

Among one of the best media players available on most platforms of desktop computers, and even mobile devices, is VLC media player. And soon, the media-playing software will also be coming to Apple's new Apple TV, which comes with a new App Store in the tvOS 9.0 operating system and later.

But for those interested in getting a chance to try the software before it goes public, the developers are allowing sign-ups for the beta of VLC media player for tvOS. One of the developers, Felix Paul Kühne, made the announcement on his Twitter account Monday evening, and if you're interested in signing up for the VLC media player beta for tvOS, you can fill out this form.

Because only a certain number of beta testers are required at this point in time, not everyone that signs up will be able to test out VLC media player for tvOS. On the other hand, you may get lucky, so if you want to try the beta before anyone else gets a chance to try it, you may try your luck.

The VLC media player application for tvOS is expected to allow you to play content from your favorite cloud-based services, whether those are Dropbox, iCloud Drive, Google Drive, or any other supported service.
