• Sony Releases 'PlayStation Messages' Messaging App for iOS Devices

Sony on Tuesday released its PlayStation Messages messaging application on the iOS platform, allowing those with PlayStation 4 units who use the messaging service built into them to bring their conversations on the go with them no matter where they may be.

The application requires you to have an account with Sony, which is set up on the PlayStation 4 system that the user owns. Then, by simply signing into the new iOS application on their device, users can access all kinds of messaging features like they could on the full system with all of their friends.

With PlayStation®Messages installed on your mobile device, you can:

    - Check your Friends List to instantly see who's online and what they're playing.

    - Send text or voice messages as well as photos and stickers to your friends or a group with up to 100 players.

    - Quickly access your favorite message groups from your favorites list.
To download the new PlayStation Messages application for the iOS platform, you can head over to this App Store link to grab it free of cost.

About time. No knock on the PlayStation app but the messaging through that app takes forever

Well I wish they gave you a choice.

Like Facebook taking you out of the App to send a message, now PlayStation does the same thing.

If you look at the redirect time, it's probably about the same amount of time when everything was in one sweet package. Just saying
