The Pixelmator team has released an update for its popular iOS photo-editing application on Thursday, bringing the application up to version 2.2 in the iOS App Store and adding a number of important new features for users.
Among the first of the new features is support for Apple's new larger and more powerful iPad Pro, which means that those with the larger iPad can now use Pixelmator to the fullest of the iPad Pro's hardware capabilities, including support for that of the Apple Pencil for drawing sketches and the ability to open images as large as 100 megapixels.
The update also adds support for 3D Touch on the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus, which allows users to press firmly on the application icon from the Home Screen to quickly launch your picture gallery, create a new image, or even quickly and easily launch an image from your photo library.
