• Twitter Reportedly Plucks Talent from Apple

While Apple is no stranger to welcoming talent more than happy to depart a different company for the sake of calling the iDevice maker its new home, sometimes the opposite occurs. Occasionally, someone bolts from Apple when an opportunity that's too good to pass up comes along.

According to published reports Tuesday, Twitter has reportedly hired Jeffrey Siminoff (a replacement for Janet Van Huysse as the social networking company's new vice president of diversity and inclusion).

That's not a rumor. It was confirmed by Twitter HR boss Brian Schipper.

As TechCrunch went on to explain in detail today, however, Siminoff will dig into his new job next month. And from where does he come? Apple. The outgoing Apple employee had served as director of worldwide inclusion and diversity at Apple for just over two years.

All told, it's sound talent for a tough job ahead. According to TechCrunch, "a new diversity boss could be good for Twitter, which has had pretty bad year around diversity and inclusion."
