• iPhone Sales See Major Growth in Middle East & Africa

According to a new report from Counterpoint Research, Apple's iPhone is sparing to new heights across the thriving young mobile markets of the Middle East and Africa.

Based on the latest industry data first obtained by our friends at Apple Insider, annual smartphone shipments in the Middle East and Africa jumped better than 30 percent in the third quarter of this year, nearly triple the rate of global growth.

And Apple, it seems, was among the greatest beneficiaries of this growth sport. In Q3, iPhone sales jumped 133% in these yet emerging mobile markets. And it doesn't appear that the growth is poised to slow any time soon -- for Apple or its rivals.

The MEA locale, asserts Neil Shah of Counterpoint Research, "is the next frontier and key geography for smartphone growth as growth across some of the major markets across Latin America, Asia continue to slow down."

No wonder it is in middle east & Africa. Not only iPhone, if you see any expensive gadget, the sales will be higher in those parameters.
