Hey all!
So, you've most likely noticed the writers aren't on the front page anymore, as of 12/31. We've sadly had to make the decision to pull paid writers, and will be reimagining the front page starting this week. Cody and I have loved having Anthony, Shay, and Michael helping us share the news for many years, and will miss them. Thanks for all your support of our amazing writers!
Going forward, we're trying something new with the front page. Rather than posting news articles from around the net here, we'll be surfacing the awesome content we've always had in our forum community. Our strong point has always been the jailbreak community, and you as our members create many of the coolest tweaks and themes out there. Instead of paying writers to collect news, the mods and Cody and I will be promoting interesting threads from the forums to the front page.
This could be everything from a great new theme, to a nifty tweak, or maybe a guide or new tool. There's nearly 3 million posts here, and we only keep growing. Our goal is to focus 100% on the content you're all creating, and help it be more easily seen. These will also be shared to our Twitter and Facebook accounts, hopefully increasing visibility for all you creators!
And yes, a new site design is coming in the next few months. I'm as annoyed as you we're not responsive.
