• You Can Install iOS 10 Beta on your iPhone or iPad without a Developer Account

Soon after Appleís opening keynote at WWDC 2016 got over, it released the first beta of iOS 10 for iPhone, iPad, and the iPod Touch. Since Apple has not yet started the public beta testing of iOS 10 yet, the first beta of iOS 10 can only be installed by developers who have a registered account with Apple.

Well, as it turns out, there is a way to install iOS 10 beta 1 on your iOS device, even if you donít have an Apple Developer account. Even better, the steps are extremely simple and donít require any hackery. In fact, you can install the iOS 10 beta 1 on your iPhone or iPad without even connecting to a computer.

As the video above shows, all you need to do is open the beta iOS 10 profile directly from your iOS device and install it. Your device will restart during the process. Once your iOS device boots back up, go to Settings -> General -> Software Update and search for any updates. If the update does not show up the first time, exit the Settings menu and re-try again. Once it shows up, simply download and install the update like you would install any iOS OTA update.

Make sure to open the iOS 10 beta profile link directly in Safari on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch that is supported by iOS 10, and you will automatically be redirected to the Settings menu to install the new configuration.

Since the above method will install iOS 10 through an OTA update, all your installed apps and their data will remain intact as well. However, it is recommended that you backup your iPhone or iPad using iTunes once before proceeding with the steps below.

If you do end up installing iOS 10 beta 1 on your iPhone or iPad using the steps above, drop in a comment below and let us know how your experience with it has been so far.

Sweet thanks for this. My question is will you still get updates by installing it. Or will I be stuck on the first beta ?

Seems to be pretty stable. A bit sluggish on the multitasking(as a whole) but looks great for sure.
