Want to meet others jailbreakers and listen to talks from popular community members? This may be your chance.

In the past, there was an event known as JailbreakCon (WWJC) where popular community members such as Saurik, rpetrich, and iH8Sn0w would deliver talks and jailbreakers got an opportunity to meet each other, however, it seems that has come to an end. That's where JailbreakersUnite by Andy Hoff comes in. This event seeks to recreate that atmosphere by featuring talks from popular community members. They just recently posted their full schedule in addition to ticket purchases on their website.

The event will feature popular community members such as Ryan Petrich (developer of Activator, BioProtect, etc.), Logan O'Connell (developer of Falcon and Andrios), Andy Wiik (member of iOSCreatix team, developer of Horseshoe), and our very own William Vabrinskas (ModMyi repository manager, Boxy and Vinculum developer).

In addition to the speakers, the event will also feature a "jailbreak setup competition" in which attendees will be able to demonstrate their tweaked iOS experience for votes. Contestants must customize the following: "Homescreen, Lockscreen, Control Center, and list views (for example the Settings app)." Contestants should email their submissions to [email protected] prior to the event. The winner of the contest will receive a $50 Amazon gift card.

As for the important details, the event will be held July 22 (12-6 PM) and July 23 (1-5PM) at the Fat Cat Fab Lab in New York City. Tickets will be $10 for one day, and $15 for both days. You can learn more at their website, https://www.jailbreakersunite.com/, as well as purchase tickets. If you have any questions regarding the event, feel free to email them.
