Formerly 'Apace for Spotify', the developer has expanded it beyond the initial scope.

You're listening to Music on your iPhone, but it's locked. A track comes on that you like, in order to save it, you have to stop what you're doing, unlock your phone, open the app, and then take action on the track. Shouldn't this feature be available from your Lock Screen or Control Center?

Andreas Hendrickson thinks so too, he has solved the problem by making Apace. Originally created for Spotify, Andreas has added support for Deezer and the iOS Music app.

Created as an iOS 10 version of Quickly, it swiftly grew beyond what that offered on iOS 9. Apace is packed with features and settings. You're able to add tracks to collections and playlists, add favourites, control Spotify Connect devices and much more right from your Lock Screen or Control Center.

When you take a trip into the preferences pane in the Settings app, you're greeted by some very useful options.

You're able to tell Apace to skip duplicates, customise the background in the LS and CC, and set a default playlist. Andreas has also included support for Horseshoe which comes in the form a 'Clumsy fingers' toggle in the bottom of Apace's preference pane. This moves the 'Add to Collection' and 'Add to playlist' functions to Horseshoe's 3D Touch album artwork section instead of cramping the UI with too many buttons.

All in all, Apace is an amazing little tweak that is most definitely worth every penny and is recommended for every music fans daily driver.

Apace is $1.99 on the BigBoss repo.
